2013 Lind Combine Demo Derby [PHOTOS]

This past weekend the small town of Lind was again transformed into one giant party! The 26th Annual Combine Demo Derby took place on Saturday but the festivities started on Friday night as it always does with a Demo Car Racing event. Cars and trucks battled it out on the rodeo arena grounds to see who was the fastest and who would walk away with bragging rights.

This was my 9th year not only attending the annual combine derby but announcing it as well. I'm really looking forward to my 10th anniversary next year because it lands on Fathers day weekend(June 13 - 15), so lil Focker will be attending the event as he did over  5 years ago.

Check out some photos above and congratulations to Brian Jeske of 'Hillbilly Deluxe' and Jim Oswald of 'Prison Break' who were co-champions at this years event. Jeske celebrated all weekend by bringing in local country band Stompin Ground who performed both Friday and Saturday night.
