Just in time for the holiday season, tickets for the Sasquatch! Music Festival will be going on sale this Friday.

Although the lineup for the shows won't be announced until February, that won't keep people from snatching up tickets this weekend. With a reputation to pull tons of big name bands from multiple genres, it is guaranteed that there will be a couple bands worth seeing.

A limited number of discounted 3-day passes for each weekend will go on sale at 9 a.m. this Friday through TicketMaster.com. Discounts will also be available for those purchasing both weekends.

After selling out in a record 90 minutes last year, it was decided to extend Sasquatch! to two weekends. For the first time the Gorge will be home to one of the countries best music festivals on Memorial Day weekend AND Fourth of July weekend. The festival will also return to it's original Friday through Sunday three day format.

Festival creator Adam Zacks said

There has never been a time in history with as much access to new music as we are experiencing right now. We are excited to offer two unique weekends to explore over 200 of the best and brightest in this golden era of music discovery.

We're talking two completely different lineups - 100+ bands per weekend, 30+ per day. That's a lot of music! That also makes it hard to purchase a pre-sale ticket.

Considering that we don't know who will be playing each weekend, wouldn't it be disappointing if you bought tickets to the first weekend only to find out your favorite artist was playing the the second weekend? One deciding factor for some will be the weather. So - would you rather spend a soggy Memorial Day weekend at the Gorge or a hot as hell Independence Day weekend at the best venue in America? Either way, you can't go wrong.
