93-Year-Old Driver Runs Red Light, Slams Into Minivan

A driver who ran a red light earlier Monday morning collided with another driver in Kennewick.

According to Kennewick police, 93-year-old Howard House was westbound on 4th. Ave when he failed to stop for a red traffic signal at the intersection at Morain.

His white sedan slammed into a red mini-van crossing with the green, sending it across the intersection. No one in the van sustained any significant injuries, but House was taken to the hospital with what police said was a possible fracture, but didn't say where he sustained it.

No word given if citations were issued.
