Since 2013 the Yakima Police Department has issued a whopping 1525 school zone speeding infractions. I did the math. That is approximately 8 violations per school day! What in the  name of the Almighty is the bloody hurry?

Roosevelt School had 350 infractions, Washington Middle School and Adams Elementary School both had more than 300. Neighbors say despite the cops patrolling the zones every day the practice is still ridiculously rampant. And for the record, your stiff fines for school zone speeding cannot be reduced under any circumstance. So don't just think you can go and the judge will knock it in half or better. No sir, not these, and besides IS A CHILD'S LIFE REALLY WORTH SAVING LITERALLY A FEW SECONDS?
