Watch Arcade Fire Cover Huey Lewis’ ‘Back in Time’ from ‘Back to the Future’

You can just imagine Marvin Berry on the phone with his cousin, Chuck, holding up the receiver and saying, “You know that new sound you’re looking for? Well, listen to this!”

Arcade Fire paid tribute to Michael J. Fox during their show last night (Aug. 11) in his hometown of Edmonton, Alberta by covering Huey Lewis‘ horn-heavy ‘Back in Time’ from ‘Back to the Future.’ Multi-instrumentalist Will Butler sang lead vocals before his brother, Win, took over as the song transitioned into ‘Here Comes the Night Time.’

Check out video of the performance above and watch Arcade Fire play another ’80s movie theme — this time from ‘Beverly Hills Cop’ — below.
