Yesterday (March 24), Ben Stiller stopped by Late Night With Seth Meyers to discuss his upcoming film, the Noah Baumbach-directed While We’re Young. In the movie, Stiller shares the screen with Naomi Watts, Adam Driver, Amanda Seyfried and none other than the Beastie Boys’ Adam “Ad-Rock” Horovitz. However, this isn’t the first time Stiller has collaborated with Horovitz.

During the interview, Stiller -- a self-proclaimed diehard fan of the rappers -- recounts subbing in for Horovitz as a bit at one of the Beastie Boys’ concerts during 2008’s Rock the Vote campaign and appearing in the Beastie's 2006 concert documentary, Awesome; I F---in' Shot That!. Of course, the conversation naturally led Meyers to quiz Stiller on his knowledge of the trio’s lyrics, and Stiller didn’t fail to impress.

Stiller was four-for-four, completing lyrics from “Root Down,” “Sure Shot,” “So What’cha Want” and “Shake Your Rump.” Watch the actor throw down his Beastie Boys expertise in the video above.

Adam Horovitz recently discussed acting in While We’re Young, along with his other post-Beastie Boys endeavors, including scoring films and writing a memoir. As for the latter, the rapper said fans shouldn't expect his book any sooner than 2017.
