Benton County Man Reportedly Dies from West Nile Virus

An elderly man in his 80's is the first person to reportedly die from contracting West Nile virus. It was reported that he contracted the disease near his home and was hospitalized before his death. A total of ten people have been diagnosed for West Nile virus this year with one donor testing positive with no signs.

Remember that most people do not get sick if they get West Nile virus. A very small amount of people get a little sick but most of those people have a weakened immune system.
