Black Stone Cherry are back with a new single off their 'Magic Mountain' album, and the band is teaming up with Loudwire to bring you the exclusive premiere of the video for 'Remember Me.'

The clip (watch above) centers on a young woman paying her own sort of homage to a loved one lost at war. As the song kicks off, "Today was a long day / I found myself thinking about you / Today was a hard day / I still can't believe that all of this true," the woman is seen looking at a folded American flag typically given to the families of soldiers killed in action, followed by unfolding a black and white photo and pulling the cloth off a motorcycle to make an emotional journey.

The chorus rings out, "When I am gone will you stay strong? / Don't cry this is not a dream / When Heaven calls and stars they fall / Believe, will you remember me?," further driving home the nature of the track as the band performs amidst clouds of fading smoke.

Black Stone Cherry frontman Chris Robertson tells us, "'Remember Me' is a song very near to my heart. As the song was written the day my grandpa was laid to rest. I feel this video captures the emotions of letting go in the most positive light. Sometimes it's beautiful when a person is no longer suffering, even if that means they aren't here with us anymore."

As mentioned, 'Remember Me' is featured on Black Stone Cherry's 'Magic Mountain' album, which is currently available at iTunes and Amazon. You can also look for the band touring Europe this fall before returning stateside for the This Is How We Cruise in Miami on Nov. 8. All dates can be found here.
