True whiskey lovers know it’s a cardinal sin to waste a single drop from their glasses. The gents over at Bushmills Irish Whiskey are firm believers in this, but they want you to appreciate every part of their 100-year-old product, including the whiskey barrel it comes in.
Bushmills partnered with Shwood, makers of wooden sunglasses, and the Boston store Botega to make a unique pair of shades fit for any whiskey snob or pretentious hipster.
The new model is made from the brand’s own barrels and even the whiskey was used to mix in the wax. So, not only will you probably smell like an alcoholic — excuse us, “casual drinker” — you’ll look like someone who enjoys a glass (or five) on a daily basis.
