Cinnabon Employee Admits to Lying About Armed Robbery at Columbia Center Mall

We were all shocked over the weekend by the news of an armed robbery at the Cinnabon in Columbia Center Mall in Kennewick. What a brazen crime for our community at such a beloved business!

Turns out it was all FAKE!

The employee stole the money she was taking to the bank last Friday afternoon. She tied herself up and invented the story of armed robbery.

She confessed to police recently and we're all back to having safe, warm thoughts about a gooey Cinnabon in the mall.
