Excited about the upcoming Megadeth album ‘Super Collider’? Of course you are! But we’ve got some news that may make the wait even more difficult … according to Disturbed / Device singer David Draiman, and confirmed by Megadeth’s Dave Mustaine, Draiman has lent his songwriting skills to “a few songs” on ‘Super Collider.’

Megadeth are no strangers to collaboration, having recruited Lacuna Coil‘s Cristina Scabbia to record vocals on ‘A Tout le Monde (Set Me Free)’ in the past. Although Draiman’s voice won’t be heard on ‘Super Collider,’ his personal influence will shine through on the upcoming tracks ‘Forget to Remember’ and ‘Dance in the Rain.’

Draiman responded to a thankful tweet posted by Mustaine, quoting the Megadeth frontman’s words while Draiman posted thankful message of his own from Disturbed’s official Facebook page:

I HAD THE DISTINCT HONOR AND PRIVILEGE OF WORKING WITH THE LEGENDARY MR. DAVE MUSTAINE ON A FEW SONGS FOR THE NEW MEGADETH RECORD (NO GUEST VOCS, JUST WROTE TOGETHER). HERE’S WHAT HE HAD TO SAY…

@DaveMustaine: Big thanks to @DAVIDMDRAIMAN for vocal/singing help on Super Collider! Can’t wait to see Device live! @DEVICETHEBAND @Disturbed

AMAZING.

-DAVID

Mustaine fired the praise right back at Draiman with an additional tweet:

Will the experimental partnership add a little something extra to Megadeth’s fourteenth studio album? We’ll have to wait until ‘Super Collider’ becomes available on June 4 to find out.
