Free Places to Go Camping Near the Tri-Cities
Are you ready to get camping!? I certainly am. And I'm even MORE ready for FREE camping! Yes, there are places you can camp without park fees. I checked out freecampsites.net to see what sites were near the Tri-Cities. I picked my fave three below, but check out the site for even more. Make sure you check out the websites for whichever site you want to go to, to MAKE SURE it's free. When I double checked a few have fees now, but most on the list are FREE! So pack up the car and hit the road!
Sand Station - Located west of Umatilla. Space available for 5-10 tents near the beach. 5 tent/RV sites. Shade. Barbeque Grills. Fire Rings.
Juniper Dunes - Located Northeast of Pasco. Camping. Fire Ring. ATV Trails. Hiking Trails. Horse Trails. Hunting. Wildlife Viewing. You have to pack in and out all drinking water and trash.
Windust Park - Camping. Boat Ramp. Drinking Water. Fire Ring. Picnic Tables. Restrooms. Playground.
Roosevelt Park (Roosevelt, WA) - This is not to be confused with Roosevelt Park near Coolee. On the Columbia River. Camping, boating, popular with windsurfers.
