Grammy Award Winning Artist to Headline Untapped 2015 at Fairgrounds in May
It's going to be the biggest and best Untapped Festival ever! 16 acts will be performing over the two day event!
Untapped 2015 is the ultimate blues and brews festival at the Clover Island Stage and Benton-Franklin Fairgrounds May 8th and 9th.
The event gets underway Friday, May 9, with a slate of great entertainment at Clover Island. Too Slim and the Taildraggers, perennial favorites, will be performing along with the Wasteland Kings and Lloyd Jones and the Struggle on the Island.
Then Saturday, on the D's Wicker Cider Stage, welcome two-time Grammy Award winning artist Taj Mahal! For over four decades Taj has been performing, composing and influencing generations of blues and rock musicians, and has received two of musics' most prestigious awards in doing so. Six other acts will perform leading up to Tah Mahal.
Also performing throughout the day are five other local and regional bands, including No Hope, Brothers Ride, The Shades, Stomping Ground, and Third Date.
And to make it even better, beer sale proceeds will be donated to Girls On the Run, a group dedicated to helping women with a wide variety of programs to help them reach their full potential and live better lives.
