Grip & Rip 2012 Golf Tourney

97 Rock brings you the best and baddest Rock ‘N’ Roll golf tournament in the NW and we’re back again June 23rd & 24th with the 17th Annual Grip & Rip Golf Tournament. We’ll be teeing it up with some of the best drinkers/golfers in the Columbia Basin and we’re hoping you can join us. A four person scramble format so get your team signed up to play today. $480 per team gets you both rounds of golf, tee prizes, dinner Saturday night(@ Jackson’s in Kennewick), closest to the pin contests each day and a putting contest to kick off the event. There will also be an optional skins game and 50/50 raffle both days.

Saturday June 23rd the tournament kicks off with a shotgun start at 1pm at Tri-City Country Club. Big Thanks to Chris Issacson, golf pro at TC Country Club.

Sunday June 24th we’re heading to the home of Monday Madness Golf, Canyon Lakes Golf Course for the final round of the tournament. Special thanks to Mike Lundgren, Matt Mandell Steve Stull and Brandon Black of Canyon Lakes Golf Course.

Entry into the golf tournament also gets you dinner Saturday night provided by Jackson’s Sportsbar in Kennewick. Thanks to Chuck Fisher owner/operator of Jackson’s who has supplied dinner for Grip & Rip players the past 5 years.

The First Tee Friday Skins Game – We also started this last year and it was a blast. For those that want to play some golf on Friday, we have teamed up with Columbia Park Golf Links in Kennewick for a Friday “Skins Game” with proceeds going to The First Tee of The Columbia Basin. $20 per person, you’ll get a round of golf at Columbia Park Golf Links. Played as a normal skins game you can book your tee time anytime for Friday, just call Columbia Park at (509)586-3111 and tell them your playing in Grip & Rip.
