Hanford High is set to honor Dmetri Kennedy-Woody at their upcoming graduation ceremony this Friday.

Woody drowned over Memorial Day weekend, days before his graduation as a senior at Hanford High.

Dmetri Kennedy-Woody was a successful Football and Baseball player for Hanford High and was a popular student among his peers. Here are a few ways that the school will remember Woody at the graduation.

At graduation on Friday, there will be a moment of silence to honor and remember his life. As a graduating student, Dmetri's name will be called.In the front of the student section, Dmetri's jerseys, photo, and cap and gown will rest in a chair alongside his graduating peers and on graduation day, seniors, staff and family will be wearing a button, with Dmetri's initials and numbers.
