I made a conscientious decision that I was going to start reading books in my spare time. What better place to find good books for low prices than a thrift shop?

I went to Value Village to buy some books, and came across a book written by baseball Hall of Famer, Cal Ripken, Jr.

Pete Christensen

A little background on me. I am a huge Baltimore Orioles fan. From the age of three, Cal Ripken, Jr. was my idol. I can recite all there is to know about this man. Regardless of my personal infatuation with this player, the whole baseball world knows and loves Cal Ripken, Jr. He's everyone's favorite player. He was Alex Rodriguez's idol. The Iron Man. He broke the "unbreakable" record and made it even more unbreakable.

I put the book in my cart and grabbed a few more, not thinking of it. I took them home and let them sit until this morning, when I decided it was a good time to read.

This is what I found:

I'm changing my name to Bill Enjoy now. I haven't even started reading it, yet. I've been showing everyone I know.

I also bought a book written by Jerry Seinfeld. Looks like I'll be checking that book when I get home.

Are you on your way to Goodwill yet?
