This guy polluted a dumpster in Kennewick, and now police are seeking him.

Saturday, May 11th,  surveillance cameras at a business located in the 500 block of North Quay in Kennewick picked up these photos of a man dumping a significant amount of hazardous waste, chemicals, paint and other substances into a dumpster.

The alleged dumping took place near the intersection with West Deschutes Ave near Vista Field.   Police did not specify was the hazardous waste was, but the photos clearly show numerous 5-gallon buckets of materials in addition to at least 20-30 cans of paint.

The suspect vehicle is described as a Chevy extended cab pickup, model year 2000 forward.  The suspect has a tattoo on his left calf.

Illegally dumping these types of materials is extremely costly to clean up, and the suspect will be facing significant costs and charges if caught.  Not only was he not smart in dumping the hazardous materials and paint, doing it in broad daylight isn't that smart either!

Anyone with information is asked to contact Tri-City Crimestoppers at 509-586-8477.   Tips are anonymous, and if they lead to apprehension of a suspect, can result in cash rewards.
