Is This too Far? – Customer Humiliates Shoplifter

I understand wanting to be a good citizen, but sometimes that line gets crossed badly.

Here we have a guy confronting a woman he believes is shoplifting. He threatens to "pin her down" and demands to see her I.D.

How far is too far?
