Kennewick Employee Jumps on Hood of Shoplifters Car

A Kennewick store employee jumped on the hood of shoplifters as they tried to drive away with merchandise. The shoplifters left a store on Clearwater Ave with baskets half full with merchandise and the clerk chased them out the door and stood in front of their yellow Dodge Neon. Reports say the shoplifters then yelled "Go, he'll move" and drove into the employee. He jumped on the hood of the car and held onto the windshield wipers until he slipped off seconds later.

The employee luckily only sustained a few scrapes on their knees for their stunt and the shoplifters have not been identified. If you have any information please contact the Kennewick Police Department.
