Kid Rock accepted an award from the NACCP  for his charitable contributions totaling some $100,000, mean while protesters marched outside the venue with "Say No to Kid Rock Signs" because he has flown the Confederate flag at some of his shows.

According to Kidrock.com, Rock who attended the show with his son, Bob Ritchie, Jr said "I've never flown that flag with hate in my heart, not one ounce."
