Brian ‘Head’ Welch joined Korn live onstage for the first time in seven years on May 5 — playing ‘Blind‘ with the band at the Carolina Rebellion festival in Rockingham, N.C.  Now, it seems like a more permanent reunion may be a possibility. In a new interview, Korn guitarist James ‘Munky’ Shaffer revealed that he, and perhaps the entire band, is open to the idea.

“The whole thing needs to be approached very delicately, because it’s such a fragile thing,” says Munky to Pulse of the Radio. “It’s just something that has to be super well-planned and it has to come naturally. And our experience with him on Saturday has all started from a positive place, and it wasn’t forced and it was just natural. So I think if everything optimistically runs like that, that’s all I can hope for. I’m really happy just to reconnect with my old friend.”

Korn have just revealed a new batch of North American tour dates for ‘The Path of Totality’ tour, which will feature frontman Jonathan Davis performing an electronic set as ‘J Devil.’ Meanwhile, Munky’s wife just announced that the couple is expecting their first child together.
