Back in December, Sunnyside Goodwill began a search for the owner of a large sum of money found inside a shoebox that was donated. Today, a local woman has come forward to claim the $15,000!

Goodwill Store Manager Chella Cardenas, who discovered the money while sorting through donations, told NBC Right Now that they weren't sure where the donation had come from as they receive donations from all over. Anyone trying to claim the missing items had to describe the contents of the box and exactly how much money was inside.

Just a few weeks later, a woman stepped forward and claimed the cash. She said her deceased husband hid the money there and she had no idea about it. Goodwill returned the money to her today.
