Shortly before midnight on Sunday January 5, Kennewick police responded to the Circle K convenience store on West 4th Ave (just down the street from Westgate Elementary) on a report of an armed robber.

The guy was more dressed for skiing than robbing.

The suspect, described as white or Hispanic male,  was described as possibly in late teens wearing a puffy black ski jacket, mask, gloves and jeans. The suspect pointed a gun at the clerk and got away with an undisclosed amount of money.

The clerk, fortunately, was not injured in the robbery. No surveillance images have been released yet by authorities. Anyone with any information is asked to anonymously report it to Tri-Cities Crime Stoppers at (509)-586-TIPS.
