A note from Jonathan Collette

"I was born and raised in Southeast Idaho. I served a two-year LDS mission in Rome, Italy, before graduating from Brigham Young University, magna cum laude. I went on to received my doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, one of the top-rated dental schools in the country, graduating summa cum laude and second in my class of over a hundred graduates. I then was selected as one of three residents to remain in San Antonio and complete an additional three years of intense orthodontic training.

Coming out of a residency where I have been trained in multiple techniques, I feel I am uniquely qualified to help patients understand what type of braces is best for each of their situations. Furthermore, there has never been a better time to undergo orthodontics. Historically, orthodontic treatment was limited to headgear and large bands around the teeth. Things have changed so much! Whether it is traditional twin brackets, ceramic brackets, or clear aligners, there are options available no matter what your condition or age may be. The orthodontic profession has never had so many techniques and fabulous methods to help people attain their perfect smile."
