Metal God Eric Calderone Rocks the ‘Super Mario Bros.’ Theme

Just when we thought America’s favorite video game, ‘Super Mario Bros.,’ couldn’t get any better — enter YouTube’s 311Erock, aka rocker Eric Calderone. In this video, Eric shows us that not all metal riffs and/or tones are used for moshing, horror movies and making parents angry.

Getting not only the theme song down perfectly but also the game’s sound effects, his video makes the actual soundtrack from ‘Super Mario Bros.’ appear to be quite bland. Look at that — who knew we loved metal so much?

Dont’ forget to watch Eric’s covers of the ‘Game of Thrones‘ theme, ‘Somebody That I Used to Know‘ and the ‘Trololo’ song.
