Metallica made a recent trip to China to play for the fans there, and were warned to not play "Master of Puppets", as it was banned. All bands touring through China are required to submit lyrics to all of the songs they have written before they are allowed to perform there. According to Team Rock Radio, Kirk Hammet was able to sneak a riff of the song in their set anyways. "I had an open guitar solo thing where I just sit there and riff – I played the riff for Master Of Puppets and a couple of other songs that weren't allowed to be played. I played just the music – I kind of snuck it in there."

Here is Metallica playing the fan favorite live, in Canada.

Metallica is getting ready to release their 3D movie, "Through the Never", which will hit normal theaters next weekend.
