Before he died, Chris Cornell took two Johnny Cash poems and turned them into a song called, "You Never Knew My Mind."  It's for an album called "Forever Words"  that's coming out April 6th, where several artists took Johnny's words and turned them into songs.

Cornell and Cash collaborated when the legendary "Man in Black" covered Soundgarden's "Rusty Cage" in 1996.

John Carter Cash, Johnny's son says of the ballad, "I can't listen to it without it laying me down...I mean it still did, even before he passed.
