Not How a Pasco Girl Wanted to Wake Up
A teenage girl woke up with a scream Monday when a stranger came into her bedroom and licked her abdomen.
She woke the rest of the house in Pasco just before 6 a.m. as the male who licked her ran from the home in the 1700 block of North 17th Avenue, according to police Sgt. Scott Warren.
The suspect escaped but police have an idea of who performed the sexual assault.
"Most of the times, in these type of sex crimes, it's someone they know," said Warren.
Police are asking anyone in the neighborhood around 5:30 a.m. to 6 a.m. to call them if they saw anything suspicious.
"If anyone saw someone running, it would be helpful," Warren said.
