The Ducks are going pink this weekend! Joining in on the fight against breast cancer the University of Oregon football team will be wearing pink cleats, socks, gloves and even helmets on Saturday when Washington State comes to Eugene.

Nike has created numerous looks for Oregon over the last few seasons and has teamed up with the NFL for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, but this will be the first time that any team has ever worn a pink helmet.

The pink accented helmets will be auctioned off starting on Saturday, 25. Some will be autographed by Oregon legends, including former quarterbacks Dan Fouts and Joey Harrington, former wide receiver Ahmad Rashad and Nike Chairman and Oregon Alum Phil Knight. All proceeds go to benefit to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund.

The Kay Yow Cancer Fund is named after former North Carolina State women's basketball coach Kay Yow who lost her fight with breast cancer in 2009. The charity has raised millions of dollars for scientific research and programs associated with women's cancers.
