P-Town Throwdown
Saturday June 16th at the Rudy Rada Skatepark in Pendleton, OR is the 2012 P-Town Throwdown. This community event is an annual event that helps benefit the Lost & Found Youth Outreach a non-profit organization that is a volunteer-driven faith-based program, designed to assist youth and families by partnering with community, business, governmental and local tribal agencies to help youth.
Festivities kick off at 10am with the registration for skate and bike competitors. The event is open to kids ages 7+ and with a $500 grand prize for the skate vert champion there's gonna be some great competition. There's also a helmet cam up for grabs to the bike champion and other great prizes for competitors.
I had a chance to talk to Danny Bane from the Lost & Found Youth Outreach about the event so check out the full conversation below.
