Pasco #3 on Safest Cities List, Crime Drops 80% in 25 Years

Pasco is the third safest city in the state,according to a new survey released by SafeHome.com, Kennewick and Richland are in the top seven.

The website utilizes a variety of crime data, and concluded that Pasco is Number 3 in Washington state.

Pasco city officials say it's the latest good news in a long history of decades of work to decrease crime rates. They say they've dropped 80% since the late 1980's.

Cities had to have a population of at least 46,000 to qualify for the study.

Which cities were deemed most 'dangerous?'  According to FBI crime data, Tukwila and Tacoma top the list.
