After a countdown appeared on Pearl Jam's website last week, fans began to wonder what would happen when it hit zero. Those questions were answered today as the band announced that they will be heading out on a two-leg North American tour, with the first leg kicking off next week. The second leg of the tour will begin in October and make its way through the northwest with stops in Spokane, Portland, Vancouver B.C., and of course, the band's home town of Seattle.Tickets for the upcoming tour will go on-sale Saturday, July 27th at 10:00 AM and Pearl Jam Ten Club members can take advantage of a pre-sale right now.

November 29 - Rose Garden in Portland, OR
November 30 - Spokane Arena in Spokane, WA
December 4 - Rogers Arena in Vancouver, BC
December 6 - Key Arena in Seattle, WA
For the full tour itinerary, visit the Pearl Jam Tour page.

As far as the other countdown that is currently running on the band's website and set to expire Thursday at 12PM PST, we will have to wait to see what that announcement is. I'm going to step out on a limb and guess that they will be releasing details about their upcoming album, their first album of new material since 2009's 'Backspacer'. Maybe even a teaser to a new song...stay tuned.
