Pendleton Man Stabs Two Pit Bulls — Reminding Everyone Why Bans Exist

You must have a permit from the Tri-Cities Animal Control authorities to own a pit bull. You may only own one in Yakima if it is a service animal. We were reminded of why that is yesterday afternoon in Pendleton.

A man was walking his dog on 14th Street when it was attacked by two pit bulls. The man pulled out a knife and stabbed the dogs to protect his pet, which left the encounter unharmed.
