Everyone's got a boss that has a few catch phrases. Usually to help motivate you or to remind you of who is boss. But, are some of those catch phrases used so much that you would rather punch them in the face or go sit in your car for a few minutes rather than take their advice? I have several people that I work with that have these exact catch phrases that drives me crazy.

One boss uses 'At the end of the day' almost every single day. He is usually trying to make at point that half the stuff people say doesn't matter because at the end of the day it is going to be done his way no matter what. I get his usage but, again he says it so much you almost tune him out.

Here are some catch phrases LinkedIn found that you might want to stay clear from because of their annoyance.

1.  “At the end of the day.”

2.  “Back to the drawing board.”

3.  “Hit the ground running.”

4.  “Get the ball rolling.”

5.  “Think outside the box.”

6.  “Let’s touch base.”

7.  “It’s a no-brainer.”

8.  “I’ve got a lot of stuff on my plate.”

9.  The word “synergy.”

10.  “It’s a win-win.”

Try to find alternatives to each so you don't drive people crazy! HA
