A man accused of shoplifting in Walmart ran after taking items and led police on a chase to his house according to news reports. The man was arrested at his West Richland home on the 6200 block on Meyers street. When the man had left the Walmart parking lot he was spotted by an officer that tried to pull him over. The man drove fast trying to elude the officer and they gave up the chase but arrested him later at his house.

The man was booked into Benton County jail on charges of eluding, theft, driving with a suspended license, a felony warrant out of Franklin County, and pure stupidity.
