Microsoft co-founder and owner of both the Seattle Seahawks and Portland Trail Blazers, Paul Allen, died today of cancer at the age of 65.

He died from "complications of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma" according to reports in Seattle.

Allen was first diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma 9 years ago and overcame it. Then just this month he announced he was getting treatment for the disease again.

Now, just weeks later he is gone.

Paul Allen was ranked as 44th on the Forbes list of billionaires and is estimated to be worth $20.3 billion dollars.
