Watch Seth MacFarlane’s 2012 Emmys Fail
‘Family Guy‘ creator Seth MacFarlane has been on a roll lately thanks to his hosting turn on ‘SNL‘ and his summer box office hit ‘Ted.’ That all ended when he completely blew his presenting segment on the 2012 Emmy Awards.
While presenting the award for Outstanding Reality Show Host, MacFarlane completely missed the mic stand and started reading the teleprompter copy without amplification. The result? No one could hear what Seth was saying. It wasn’t until an off-screen voice (perhaps host Jimmy Kimmel?) directed Seth to the mic that he realized his live TV flub.
How did MacFarlane recover? Stewie Griffin impression, of course.
