Nothing Says Summer More Than a Supercut of Slip ‘N Slide Fails

Slip 'N Slide Fails
The Huffington Post

It’s the first day of summer and temperatures are expected to reach triple digits over the next few days, at least in some parts of the country. So, in that spirit, we present an awesome compilation of Slip ‘N Slide fails that’s guaranteed to beat the heat courtesy of the folks at HuffPost.

Although it’s been popular for more than five decades, let’s face it, the Slip ‘N Slide is really just a sheet of thin, slippery plastic doubling as a water slide. Sound dangerous? As this compilation shows, it can be, especially when you’re crazy enough to add ramps, boogie boards and kiddie pools to the mix.

Still, the venerable toy has been responsible for a great deal of fun ever since it was introduced in 1961. And many people (including us) are willing to brave it for relief from the blazing sun. But even if it isn’t your cup of tea, you can still get a few laughs watching everyone else fall flat on their butts.
