2014 Tri-City Americans Nuclear Night Jerseys [PHOTO]

The annual CH2M Hill Nuclear Night will be held on Friday, January 24 as the Tri-City Americans host the Seattle Thunderbirds. Each year the team wears a special edition jersey for the evening and this year's might be my favorite one ever.

The Americans posted a snapshot on Facebook that shows the front and back of the new jersey. A nod to their classic black and gold jerseys, this year's Nuclear jerseys have the triangle on the front and replaced the three stars with isotopes. A great idea and an even cooler look.

Following the game, you will be able to bid on the game worn jerseys through the Americans auction website. All proceeds from those auctions will benefit the Player's Continuing Education Fund. I might have to throw my hat into the ring for one of these sweaters.
