Spokane Rock Legend’s Cameo in Mark Wahlberg Movie

Spokane has a rich history with rock and roll. Original Dokken (3,000,000 albums sold in the 80's) guitarist George Lynch was born in Spokane. So was another rock legend, but he had more humble beginnings.

Before Myles Kennedy's soaring vocals in Alterbridge caught the attention of Slash, Myles Kennedy landed a bit role in the 2001 movie Rock Star starring Mark Wahlberg. The movie was a box office bomb, but definitely worth a watch. Myles is featured towards the end of the movie when he is chosen by Wahlberg's character to carry the torch and front the band, Steel Dragon.
