Welp, the Lilac City is gonna have a few less blossoms on display, as the city council is considering new rules to limit public nudity, namely coffee bars employing topless baristas.

I never knew topless coffee bars exist, so this is news to me.

A new rule proposed to the city council would ban businesses within 400 feet of schools, libraries, day cares, parks, or places of religious purpose. Business outside of these perimeters would be restricted and regulated. These businesses would be required to have signs warning customers of the adult-oriented dress code.

Council member Mike Allen, one of the members proposing the rule, says, “I recognize the ability of these facilities to exist. Let’s just not put them where our children are.”

Buzzkills.
