Here it is November 1st my 3rd weeding anniversary is coming up at the end of the month and I realize I've gained about 15 pounds. I guess that's pretty normal after getting married, however at my age (42) I can't let it happen. I recently watched an episode of Dr. OZ and saw this woman Lisa Lillien AKA "Hungry Girl" I thought she had some really great recipes...

Let's face it who likes to diet? In fact diets suck and I have a hard time sticking to a diet especially when it's pre-packaged foods and restricts certain food categories like carbs. I like to eat my own cooking and to be honest I gotta have my desert. So here it is: I'm doing a "Hungry Girl" 30 day challenge with a goal to lose 10 lbs.

I currently weigh 143 lbs so I want to get to 133 lbs and eventually 120 lbs my goal weight. I purchased Lisa's latest book Hungry Girl To The Max on Amazon for $15 and plan to use her recipes for my 3 meals a day and desert and snacks!

This morning I had "Denver Omelette In A Mug" It was really good, I was able to make it in the microwave and it only has 122 calories! Check back regularly and I'll keep you posted through out the month about my progress. I'm excited to be eating guilt free.
