7-Eleven on Jadwin & VanGiesen is closed again.

It starts today at 11 AM and goes through tonight at 7 PM.

The delivery service is in it's infancy and test phase in LA and New York but it's only a matter of time before Kennewick gets its own delivery service if the program is successful.

Around this time last year, Amazon.com teamed up with what seemed to be an unlikely business. Growing up in the Tri-Cities, there were 7-Elevens all over the place. Now we are down to just one in Kennewick, two in Pasco, and 3 in Richland. Since it's 7-Eleven Day, our front desk administrative assistant (he's a secretary, lets be honest, just trying to not be a total jerk about it) and I decided to go city-to-city and hit all six for some free 7.11 oz. Slurpees.
