Apparently stacking rocks also known as "Cairn Building" is a big NO NO to the Benton County Parks Department and they're not being quiet about it...check out their recent post on social media....any HEY QUIT STACKING ROCKS AND PICK UP YOUR DOG'S POOP.....
The state legislature approved partial funding to purchase land on Candy Mountain to make a hiking trail. Benton County must raise the remaining funds, but it looks promising.
We are very lucky to live in this area and here's another reason Badger Mountain! I hiked it twice this weekend. I was amazed to see so many Tri-Citians enjoying and getting one heck of a work out on Badger Mountain.
On August 13th a major fire started just outside of Cle Elum, WA and has since burned over 20,000 acres and over 60 homes have been lost. Here's your chance to help out the victims of this fire with a charity fun run & walk.
I love the running trail along the Columbia River and Sporthaus in Kennewick suggested a few more hiking or running trails you may not be familiar with for running in the Tri-Cities.
