The 2014 Black Widow Mud & Sun Run is a 5+ mile obstacle course guaranteed to make you muddy, sweaty and sore! We just learned that American Rock Products has agreed to provide MORE MUD!

The Black Widow Mud Run is Aug. 2 with 5.5 miles (not kilometers) with over a dozen obstacles and lots and lots of mud! You're allowed to take your time, so anybody can run this course, but if you want to keep up with the yoga pants ahead of you, consider working out now to get ready. You're going to want a lot of sun screen and a change of clothes for after the Black Widow Mud Run. But what should you include in your bag for the pre-race warm up? Here is a little guidance to help pack for a very muddy run.

I don't do "playlists." I actually strap on a Walkman and I have 18 radio presets and I go through and find a song I haven't heard in a long time.

The Black Widow Mud Run back on Aug. 3 was five miles with over a dozen obstacles. Some people amazingly completed the course in under 40 minutes! We were incredibly impressed with everyone who completed the run, but we all were especially in awe of one particular runner. Everyone was talking about her afterward, and when we all got back to work Monday we were still talking about her:
