On the heels of his acclaimed album ‘Harakiri’ being released, Serj Tankian has announced dates for a 2012 world tour. The System of a Down singer will be touring parts of North America as well as an extensive European line of dates.

While there remains continual doubt about if and when Velvet Revolver will ever return to the stage with a new singer, it’s at least nice to know that the core group of former Guns N’ Roses members remain on a friendly basis. That was definitely on display Friday night (July 13) in Seattle when Duff McKagan dropped in on his old pal Slash for a performance at the Paramount Theatre.
