Taylor Bridge Fire Relief Fun Run & Walk
On August 13th a major fire started just outside of Cle Elum, WA and has since burned over 20,000 acres and over 60 homes have been lost. Here’s your chance to help out the victims of this fire with a charity fun run & walk.
September 8th at Badger Mountain Park in Richland the Taylor Bridge Fire Relief Fun Run and Walk will start at 9am with check in beginning at 8am.
100 % of the money raised will go to the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund! There is no set fee for the race, just whatever each individual feels comfortable giving. There are already over 170 confirmed runners/walkers with another 120 tentative.
To register in advance or to volunteer your support email Katy Clawson @ firstname.lastname@example.org
Katy Clawson who’s part of heading up this event says “The outpouring support from the community is also tremendous! Many local businesses have donated gift certificates for the winners, as well as to just give way for simply showing up!”
This event is truly a non-profit event where they are not demanding an entry fee to run just simply asking that a donation is made. The goal is simple, to raise as much money as possible for those families affected by the fire!
