Two days ago, the Seattle Seahawks picked up a third quarterback for their roster. Ex-Raiders QB Terrelle Pryor. You may be asking yourself, why a second quarterback when we have Russell Wilson and T-Jack who do a great job? But let me ask you this, "Do you think T-Jack can still be a QB in this league two years from now? Maybe, maybe not, but I think that's what the front office is thinking. That's why they traded a 7th round draft pick next year for Pryor.

He's freakishly gifted. His physical intangibles are off the chart.

But he throws a lot of interceptions. He did some amazing things playing with the Raiders with no tools. The Seahawks realize that, like Colin Kaepernick, his ceiling -- his potential -- is very high.

Honestly, I think it was a great trade and if some of Russell Wilson's brains rub off on Terrelle Pryor, he's going to be a superstar in this league, mark my words.

Russell Wilson has 10-14 years left in the NFL, but T-Jack is getting up in years. Terrelle Pryor will not be our starting quarterback unless Wilson breaks his back. But he would make a great back up. And if they develop him good enough, maybe he'll be worth enough to trade for someone really good in the future.

But I think the MAIN reason they got him is to keep him away from the 49ers. Colin Kaepernick is looking at some legal issues and they'll be looking for a really good backup QB. THAT ALONE is worth the 7th round pick.

The NFL regular season schedule will be announced at 5 p.m. tonight. We already know the opponents, but not the schedule.
