Free Beer, Hot Wings and Zane stayed on topic today with more NFL talk, this time involving the whizzing contest between Broncos wideout Brandon Marshall and former player Warren Sapp.

Sapp, who's never been a stranger to controversy, recently called out Marshall on FBHW friend Dan Patrick's show, even going so far as to refer to him as a "retard" over what he perceived to be a lack of respect for former players (in this case, former Bronco tight end and wearer of grapefruit-sized neckties Shannon Sharpe).

Here is part of what Sapp said:

These kids that play the game today have no relevance for the past. Have no conscious of what it is. I mean, Brandon Marshall talking about Shannon Sharpe, who is he to talk? He's the first 100 catch receiver, back-to-back, retard. What you just did in Denver for three years. You don't know this? No, of course he doesn't, because... it's about personal success, pay me, and now I'll think about being a team guy.

While it's unclear what exactly was angering Sapp, the fracas has continued to gain steam on Twitter and YouTube, as Marshall responded with this super passive-aggressive video.

"It was 1-0 Sapp, but now it's 3-1 Marshall. Three straight goals. Whoa!" said Zane, who was definitely impressed with the way that Marshall handled himself on camera.

"What a retort," said Hot Wings.

Ever the considerate moderator, Free Beer tried to set the record straight, letting everyone know that, "Sapp is divorced; Sapp did file for bankruptcy; but there is no evidence to suggest that he's a terrible father."
