The Most Useful Things to Give Homeless People

It's really easy to forget about those less fortunate, especially this time of the year.There is a list going around right now of some of the things that come in very useful for homeless this time of the year.

I was really blown away at the list, but SOCKS seem to be most important.

Here were other things on the list.

• Toiletries, especially feminine hygiene products.
• Reusable water bottles--you can get secondhand plastic and metal ones at Goodwill for cheap and run them through your dishwasher to sterilize them.
• Vitamins
• Gloves
• Hats
• Those little single-use hand warmers
• SOCKS!
